Google Ads is a pay-per-click (PPC) advertising platform that allows businesses to display their ads on Google’s search engine results pages (SERPs) and other Google properties. When someone searches for a keyword or phrase that a business is targeting, their ad may appear at the top of the SERP, above the organic search results.

Google Ads works by auctioning off keywords. When a business creates a Google Ads campaign, they choose a list of keywords that they want their ad to show up for. They then set a maximum bid for each keyword, which is the maximum amount of money they are willing to pay each time someone clicks on their ad.
